This Rite of the Womb is the 13th Rite of Munay Ki. “The Munay-Ki rites are a series of nine empowerment rites based on the initiatory practices of the Q’ero shamans of Peru, as taught by anthropologist Alberto Villoldo. “Munay” in Quechua means “love and will,” together with “ki” from the Chinese word for energy, combine to give the meaning: “energy of love.”
The 13th Rite of the Womb was brought to the US by Alberto Villoldo’s wife, Shaman Marcela Lobos. This Rite was passed down to Marcela from the lineage of female Shamans of the Amazon Jungles.
The 13th Rite is a very powerful, loving and transformative ritual. It cleanses the womb of our ancestral karma. It heals this lifetimes physical and emotional ill-treatment. (Think of the sexual relationships you have entered into, willing or not and threats or words that may have scarred you.
